CEO

Sargon Daniel is the Founder and CEO of Nexus Power Group, bringing over a decade of experience in the solar, wind, and energy industries. 

 

As the CEO of Nexus, Sargon is responsible for running all facets of the development and energy procurement business. Sargon has led all initiatives in the development of a pipeline of nearly 1,000 megawatts of solar projects throughout ERCOT including the Tyson Nick (110MW) solar project in ERCOT North Zone. 

 

In addition, Sargon was a member of the founding team of Greenbacker Renewable Energy Company LLC where he served as general counsel until 2012 and later advised Greenbacker on transactions to fund and acquire development‐stage and operating solar and wind assets around the United States. 

 

Prior to founding Nexus, Sargon was a partner and shareholder at Winstead PC, a law firm, where he oversaw a broad energy transactional practice executing over $5 billion in solar, wind, and oil and gas transactions. Sargon started his career as an attorney at Sullivan & Cromwell LLP advising clients on transactions in the midst of tumultuous financial markets during the Great Recession.

 

Sargon holds a JD from Columbia Law School where he was a James Kent Scholar and a BSBA with a double major in Finance and International Business from Georgetown University, where he was a John Carroll Scholar.
