Ian Delahunty is the President of Nexus Power Development, an Independent Power Producer and distributed solar energy company. 

 

Over the course of his almost twenty-year career in energy, Ian has trained and led technical teams in the United States, North Africa, Vietnam, Romania, Bulgaria, and Turkey. He previously served as the president of a publicly traded international energy company with offices in five countries and 400 employees. Subsequently, he was the president and CEO of a private US-based energy company.

 

At Nexus, Ian leads the development platform, which includes primarily distributed energy assets and utility scale project development. He is passionate about climate technology and believes the deployment of renewable energy will comprehensively and extensively benefit end users and the environment.

 

Ian holds a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from the University of Texas at Austin, specialty in structural engineering.
